Your tasks

  • Developing autonomous control: Further development of autonomous robot control for mobile work machines.
  • Optimize path and trajectory planning: Improving path and trajectory planning algorithms for agriculture and mechanical engineering.
  • Combine sensor data: Algorithmic combination of different sensor data for precise machine localisation in the field.
  • Environment recognition and perception: Analysis and fusion of sensor data for comprehensive environment recognition.
  • Database systems and software tests: Design and implementation of database systems for big data and testing of the software in simulation and practice.

What you bring with you

  • Technical studies: Degree in (technical) computer science or comparable specialisation.
  • Programming skills: Knowledge of C/C++ and Python
  • System and versioning experience: Confident handling of Linux and experience with Git.
  • Industry experience (desirable): First experience in agricultural machinery construction.
  • Language skills: Confident communication in German and English.
